Many modern companies are facing a need to develop or acquire and use Web applications as part of their purchasing, sales, and daily operations. This course offers students an introduction to basic Web technology and design, and provides them with experience in methodic problem solving and programming in a Web-based environment.
-The course covers static Web development and programming. Web development includes designing Web pages with XHTML , CSS , and scripting, as well as principles for graphic design and user-interface. Programming includes an introduction to the Java programming language, methodology, and control structures.
Lectures and computer lab exercises The course will be taught in English if there are foreign exchange students Otherwise, the course will be taught in Norwegian.
